An Interesting Modus at the Belgian Champs...!
The best 2 gymnasts per apparatus (juniors and seniors) are immediately qualified for the Gymfinals on Saturday evening May 29th.
The Gymfinals bring together the two best gymnasts in all disciplines and per apparatus or specialty for a fast and spectacular competition.

Mikhail Voronin had also ten medals at 1968-1972 on Olympic Games.
Following his retirement, Voronin remained involved in gymnastics.
In 1973 he finished the Lenin Sports Institute and later he received the title of a 'Honored Coach of the Soviet Union' in 1979 and other national awards.
He was the long-time director of the 'Dynamo School Of Gymnastics' in Moscow. Gymnastics Club of Dynamo created from generations to generation the great International class gymnast of Olympian and World Champions like names Alexander Tkachev and Alexei Bondarenko, Ludmilla Yeshova, Anna Pavlova....

The 'International Voronin Cup', an international competition in honor of Mikhail Voronin, is held in Moscow annually, at last in December 2003,
and the 12th anniversary 2005, December 15-16

Kupets topped U.S. teammates Carly Janiga (37.075), Tabitha Yim and Kristina Comforte (tied with Yim for third with a 36.775) for the win.

Seventeen athletes from seven different countries took part in the low-key International Friendship competition, with the U.S. women claiming the top seven all-around spots.
