Domestic Electrical Installation Condition Reports are an important formal document to provide a summary of the condition of the electrics in your home and determine whether it complies with the current British Standards. It is mandatory for landlords in England to have the electrical installation of a private rented property checked at least once every five years with a satisfactory DEICR certificate now required to meet these new regulations. They are also an important document to have when dealing with insurance companies and invaluable for potential house buyers to assess the electrical safety of a potential property.
