This book is a wonderful exploration of Mark Hearld's artistic process and his home. Essays about how he gets inspiration for pieces, how he constructs collages, creates the papers he uses in his works are all interspersed with stunning photographs of the works he made for the Raucous Invention exhibition at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. So much to inspire and so joyful and colourful, this is a wonderful book.

This is such a beautiful and joyous book. Mark Herald’s work bursts out from the pages - lots about collage, his house, designers and artists who inspire him and his lovely dogs. A book to return to.
