Mens 2's vs Camberley and Farnborough

Today We took on a very strong Camberley side. The start of the game we went up one nil courtesy of a good finish from Matt B. Camberley came back at us hard and within a short space of time they had levelled the game with a well worked goal. We kept our shape and had a good press all though out the first half and we were rewarded with a goal nearing the end of the half. With a superb cross/shot from Toby H, Wil M stole/ scored a well worked goal. We went into half time with a two one lead. Camberley came out in the second half strong, they pinned us back into our half and within a short space of time had put two in the back of our net.

We never in the second half gained the intensity and quality of hockey we had played in the first, we transferred it well round the back but options lacked when trying to go forward. We lost our heads slightly and Camberley went five two up. Towards the End of the match we slowly got into it and a well worked goal saw Connor get a debut goal. However we Could not stop the Camberley attack in the closing stages of the game they scored and it finished 6 - 3 to Camberley.
We played well in the First half but lost our shape and heads in the second. Well done to Connor, Chris and Felix for good debit performances on their Debuts.
