FRENSHAM RBL Bowling Club will host the final of their Hunter Cup competition on Saturday, August 12.

The finalists will be Rowledge and Old Dean. Both sides have won the cup twice before, Rowledge in 1944 and 1951, while this will be Old Dean’s fourth final in as many years.

Rowledge beat Seale & Sands and Peterfield to reach the final. Old Dean defeated Frensham and Rogate.

The cup was presented to Frensham by their then president, Edward Hunter, in 1939 and it has been played for every year since. The final will start at 2pm, an hour earlier than previously stated.
