Dhikala in Corbett National Park
Many safari trails at Dhikala Range makes it a top zone to visit in Corbett Tiger Reserve. Visitors are rewarded with numerous sightings of wild elephants, chital, hog deer and numerous grassland bird species and raptors. With animal sighting, visitors can also enjoy reservoir nearby and bird watching. An old Forest Rest House FRH Dhikala is a historic structure built over hundred years ago. Areas like Sambhar road, Crocodile point Gairal, watchtower, Kamar Patta road and Grassland are major places to visit in Dhikala apart from diverse wildlife.
Lush green landscapes and animal sightseeing of Dhikala zone can be enjoy by Canter Safari (Bus Safari) and Elephant Safari. A Safari can be pre-booked at Ramnagar office and open only from 15 November to 15 June. Only two safari are operated during a day in Dhikala zone.

Dhikala is located in In Corbett National Park ( Entry gate for Dhikala zone is Dhangadi gate. It is situated in the core of Corbett National Park, about 30kms from Dhangadi gate.).
Location & How to Reach Dhikala
Dhikala Zone can be explore by Canter safari and Elephant safari from Dhangadi Gate (30 kms). Dhikala is well connected by road and visitors can book a Safari from Ramnagar office of Park authorities of Corbett National Park. Nearest rail connectivity is at Ramnagar Railway Station, 50 kms and airport at Pantnagar airport or Delhi IGI airport.
