Former members of a Norfolk flying club will be taking part in a 'fly-in' later this year to celebrate its 90th anniversary.

The Norfolk and Norwich Aero Club (NNAC) was founded on February 25, 1927 at what was then Mousehold aerodrome.

It later moved to Norwich airport and RAF Swanton Morley, but was dissolved in the 1990s.

To mark the club's 90th anniversary, which is tomorrow, former members will be taking part in a 'fly-in' event on May 20 to 21.

It takes place at Northrepps international airport near Cromer, which is owned by former NNAC member Chris Gurney.

The club still exists to this today under the name of Rainair Flying Club, and is based at Beccles Airfield.
