A busy Norwich swimming pool is to close for more than a week in order to upgrade its underwater cameras.
The Sportspark upgrades at the University of East Anglia are part of efforts to provide the "safest environment possible" for customers.
It will be shut to swimmers from Monday, March 6 to Tuesday, March 14.
A spokesman said: “As part of Sportspark’s ongoing investment into its facilities, the pool will be closed to upgrade the existing camera system, following the development of new software.”
The work follows the death of a 57-year-old man in the pool in January last year.
A Health and Safety Executive investigation was launched following the death of Dominic Hopkins, an accomplished violinist and musician, on January 28, 2022.
Emergency services had been called to the pool at 3pm the previous day and Mr Hopkins was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital in a critical condition.
An inquest into Mr Hopkins' death is due to be held on March 6.
