5s recover to take a point

The Fifth XI started the season by welcoming Old Wokingians VI to Westhumble, continuing the recent run of fixtures of matches between Dorkinian FC and Old Wokingians.

Martyn Butterly’s newly assembled side had to recover after allowing the Old Wokes outfit to take a 2-0 lead in the first half. Ghilas brought the game back to 2-1 with great work from Chris Foxwith the assist. The Dorkinian side continued to dominate proceedings and levelled with a goal from Jordon Martin, with clever work from Ghilas with the assist. Unfortunately, despite taking the lion share of the possession, the game ended 2-2 and honours even.
