Rudbeckia 'Prairie Sun'

Showcasing the colours of an American prairie sun, this award winning biennial rudbeckia flowers from early summer through until late autumn. Native to Eastern and Central North America and drought tolerant once established, this selection is easy to grow and makes a bright splash in the garden for several months.
How to grow

Sow rudbeckia seed in punnets indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Use a good quality seed raising mix. Scatter seeds thinly and lightly cover with a fine layer of mix. Keep mix moist but not waterlogged. Place in a sunny spot. Seedlings will emerge in 7-14 days. Transplant into pots when seedlings have set some true leaves. Harden off and transplant outdoors into a well-prepared free draining soil after the last frost.
