Another success
Another success, the ladies won the 'C' Division County League and went through to play the winners of the other Divisions which was played at Bushey Bowls Club in early September. Unfortunately losing and therefore narrowly missing out in playing in the regional finals.
From strength to strength
Many of our new ladies entered the Watford & District Bowling Association Competitions where they gained a vast amount of experience playing against other Hertfordshire Clubs. They are already preparing for the 2023 season.
2022 Season Mens Section
It must be said however that the mens results were a little disappointing finishing bottom of the Watford and District league with only three wins out of eighteen matches. The mens veterans teams did not actually do any better with the Red Team finishing bottom of Division 1 with only three wins and one draw out of sixteen matches played.
Looking forward to better results in 2023
The Blue Team also finished bottom of their Division 3 winning only five games out of their sixteen matches. We look forward to hopefully much better results next year. As we say when we do not do so well, it is not the winning that matters it is taking part and enjoying this great game of bowls
