1"Experience" by Victoria Monét feat. Khalid and SG Lewis
You might know Victoria Monét after she sang alongside Ariana Grande in 2019's "Monopoly," but much like roller skating, she's back with *DJ Khaled voice* anotha one. This time, with Khalid assisting her on the track.
2"Don't Start Now" by Dua Lipa
I'm forever preaching about how Future Nostalgia is THAT album (meaning that yes, I am pissed it got snubbed in every major VMA category this year), but facts are facts. What other artist from this year flawlessly combined modern synth and '70s funk sensibilities to create a pop fever dream of a record? That's right...no one.
3"Sunshine" by Flight Facilities feat. Reggie Watts
If you don't automatically bust a lil move by 1:08, you're either (a) extremely hard to please, or (b) an actual robot. Sorrynotsorry, I don't make the rules.

4"Goodbye Soleil" by Phoenix
Indie pop gods Phoenix have been making quality music since 1999, but the release of their last record—2017's Ti Amo—saw the guys tapping into a genre they've never dabbled in: Italo disco. The result? Refreshing, like a cup of sorbet on a sunny day.
5"Say So" by Doja Cat
Let's set Doja's *ahem* problematic nature aside for a moment and appreciate the fact that "Say So" is an infectiously catchy, certified bop, shall we?
6"In Your Eyes" by The Weeknd
TBH, the entirety of The Weekend's After Hours album is perfect for a roller disco party of one. "In Your Eyes" just hits a lil different, though—heavy on the funk, high on the 80s-influenced synth, this track is truly *chef's kiss*.

7"Number One" by Tuxedo
Yes, the video for this track is pretty much a sporty and rich aesthete's goal in life, but it's just as appealing for the dance floor as it is for, say...their aspirational Instagram feed.
8"Lose Yourself to Dance" by Daft Punk feat. Pharell
UGH, don't even get me started on the dream collaboration of Daft Punk and Pharell, pls. A match made in heaven, these two artists compliment each other like bread and butter, PB and jelly, chicken and rice, and everything in between.
9"Look Easy" by KAYTRANADA feat. Lucky Daye
Hear that thumping bass line running through the track? Pay close attention to it—that's just the thing you're gonna need to make sure moves are tight as hell.

10"Wrong Club" by The Ting Tings
I'd bet good money that you probably forgot The Ting Tings were still a band, but they 100 percent are, and what's more—they make danceworthy (well, in this case, skateworthy) bops.
11"Daffodils" by Mark Ronson feat. Kevin Parker
Alright, I could have easily put "Uptown Funk" on this list, but I imagine that we are all extremely fatigued by that song since it was sooooo inescapable back in 2014. So try this Mark Ronson track, featuring Tame Impala's Kevin Parker, on for size instead.
12"Baby I'm Yours" by Breakbot feat. Irfane
TikTokers, this one's for you! Last year, this song was legit ev-er-ywhere thanks to one random person turning it into a funny meme format. But hey, at least the song actually slaps.

13"Can't Get Enough (Sam Padrul Remix)" by Yeah Boy
Spoiler alert: This is not going to be the last time you see Sam Padrul's name on this list. A self-described "keyboard master extraordinaire," Sam blends contemporary house with groovy guitar work to create tunes perfect for a rooftop party or backyard hang sesh with your day ones.
14"Good for the City" by Kraak & Smaak feat. Sam Duckworth
(Yep, consider this my official love letter to NYC.)
15"Gotta Give Me Your Love" by Sateen
Speaking of NYC, you absolutely must give Brooklyn-based proud lesbian duo, Sateen, your undivided attention. Their songs are so glamorous, that listening will make you wanna fetch a marabou-trimmed robe and wear glitter eyeshadow for a night out on the town...you know, when those were still a thing.

16"Uncle ACE" by Blood Orange
Blood Orange's Cupid Deluxe—aka one of the few albums that deserved to be in your rotation back in 2013 (and probably wasn't)—has a way of transporting you back in time. What time exactly? Let's say that reallll sweet spot between the late '70s and early '80s.
17"Just So Right (Funk LeBlanc Remix)" by Alex Lewis
Gotta give credit to a track that gives its listeners a whole minute of instrumentals to bop to before getting to the actual singing portion of the song. Now that's what I call music!
18"Fiona Coyne" by Skylar Spence
If you're scratching your heading thinking, Wait, is this about the Degrassi character of the same name?, I am happy to inform you that the answer is YES. Down to the champagne issues and sexuality struggles.

19"New Order" by Dabeull feat. Holybrune
Not only is this song perfect for dancing yourself clean, it is equally great for taking a drive on a hot summer's night with the top down. You can thank me for the suggestion later.
20"Elouisa" by The Swiss
Remember when we used to physically shop at IRL stores? (*sobs*) Well, the chances are pretty darn high that you heard The Swiss' "Elouisa" while browsing overpriced racks of clothing at least once. Busted a 10 second jig out to it, even. Now that you're likely in the comfort of your own home, turn that partial jig into a full one.
