On Sept. 29, Schulman’s Movie Bowl Grille, located at 3501 Corsicana Crossings Blvd. has at long last completed its entertainment trifecta by opening its new 23,000 square foot bowling alley and outdoor beer garden to the public.

Years in the making, the twelve lane bowling alley is located next to the movie theater’s recently renovated video game arcade. The bowling alley features a variety of amenities, from ball storage in the lounge seats, giant television screens over the lanes to watch sports, and the option for a downloadable stat tracking app called “OpenLane” to keep up on games and earn points.

Beyond the lanes are pool tables and a new beer garden. There’s a new “Beer Club” available where enthusiasts can imbibe in a variety of 24 various brews and ciders. Drink 86 various beverages (only two drinks per day will be counted per the final goal), and the most dedicated will be rewarded with a refillable pint and a half keepsake mug to bring with them for future visits.

The outdoor area features a variety of games and activities suitable for all ages. Also outside are comfortable loungers facing towards a new entertainment stage featuring live entertainment Thursdays through Saturdays. The overall effect of the area is not unlike the sort of outdoor lounges found in larger cities such as Dallas or Las Vegas.

For both indoor and outdoor areas, ordering food and drink is a simple QR access code away.

During the initial preview, Mark Schulman, Owner of Schulman‘s Movie Bowl Grille, invited Daily Sun staff to (literally) kick off their shoes and sample the new artificial grass recently installed just in time for the preview nights.

“Movie Bowl Grill is about a full, diverse entertainment complex,” Schulman said. “You have movies, you have games, you have the ability to have banquets and private events.”

“You have the bowling, you have the outdoor beer garden with live music, so you have a variety of options that everybody from 8 to 88 can enjoy. That’s what Movie Bowl Grille is about.”
