Pumas Amateur team to tackle Cheetahs Amateur team at Nelspruit Rugby Club

The Pumas U21 team are undefeated in the SA Rugby U21 Shield this season, and will face a Mpumalanga Invitation XV in the curtain-raiser.

The Pumas amateur team will take on the Cheetahs amateur team at Nelspruit Rugby Club on Saturday September 16.

The friendly match will kick off at 15:30.

The curtain-raiser at 13:00 will be a friendly match between the Pumas U21 side and a Mpumalanga Amateur Invitation XV.

The U21s are currently competing in the SA Rugby U21 Shield and are undefeated in the competition.

The Mpumalanga U21s have been on fire, beating the Valke 41-30, the Griffons 43-36 and the Griquas 37-6. They top the north section log in the U21 Shield and are in a good position to qualify for the knockout stage of the tournament.

Tickets for the day cost R30 for adults, while children enter for free. Food and beverages will be on sale.
