Who are we?
Christchurch University of the Third Age (U3A) offers a programme of educational and leisure activities for those not in full-time employment, and is part of a worldwide movement. Members with similar interests meet during the day in small groups, usually weekly or fortnightly and at various venues. The main aim is to advance the education of retired & semi-retired people and assist them in pursuing their interests within a social environment.

Adolf Hitler, Fuhrer of Nazi Germany from 1934 to 1945, was reported by German media to have killed himself by gunshot on 30th April 1945 in his FUhrerbunker in Berlin. With no body ever found and reported sightings into the late 1950's in South America, is it possible he survived? The evidence suggests he did, before his demise in 1962.

The Silver Lady or Spirit of Ecstasy mascot has always been associated with Rolls-Royce motor cars since the early days. This is the tragic love story of a couple. Lord Montagu of Beaulieu and Eleanor Thornton who was the model for the winged figure that has adorned thousands of Rolls-Royce radiators.
