One of my greatest joys in raising puppies, is watching them grown over the years and hearing about the ways they have blessed their fur-ever families. As a breeder, watching a puppy grow and develop is an amazing journey! A jourey that takes me from conception, labor & delivery, days filled with nurturing & training, meeting families, and a lifelong bond to both the puppy and family. My role is to support and care for the puppy while they are in my care and to continue to support and care for each and every family through their years of dog-ownership. I am here for questions, concerns, and just for sharing in the joys and wonder of being a dog owner.
Below are pictures of some of the wonderful Cockapoo puppies I've had the joy and privilege to raise during my years of breeding.I truly enjoy keeping in touch with my families and for all of their wonderful updates.
Our Cockapoo puppies have found their fur-ever homes with loving families all over New England (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont) and many states along the East Coast (Florida, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland) and as far as Texas and Canada!

"Chesley Hill Cockapoos is the BEST! After researching lots of Cockapoo breeders I found CHC and Destiny replied to me within hours of submitting my application for one of her puppies. I had many questions for Destiny throughout the process and she was more than happy to answer them in a kind and timely manner.
Her house is full of love and you can really sense that if you get a chance to visit. Her family takes such amazing care of their dogs and the puppies they breed it was really a no-brainer when I chose her as our breeder for our future pup. I love that her children are there so play with the puppies I think that’s why our pup loves kids so much.
We were fortunate enough to bring our puppy, Fillmore, home in May 2022 and he has brought so much joy into our lives. If you have a gender or color your prefer, Destiny does an amazing job of helping you bring home the right dog for you. "I cannot say enough amazing things about Destiny and

We got our amazing boy Teddy May 2022 and Destiny was extremely kind and helpful throughout the entire process. I had many questions and she was happy to answer them all. She keeps the most AMAZING CHC Families Only Page where she updates pictures of all the puppies & writes to what they're doing each day/week which was so helpful to look through as we were anxiously awaiting our pup.
I did A LOT of research on Cockapoo breeders as it was extremely important for me to find one that was ethical and treated the parents/pups with the utmost respect. Look no further if you're in the same boat. Destiny sets up the pups for success from the moment they are born. She also provides you will any and all the information you could ever need. When we picked up Teddy, she gave us the cutest goody bag alongside a folder that contained Teddy's family history, the health records of his parents, his health records, and notes about his personality/temperament during her time with him. When we took him to the vet we brought the packet and the vet said, and I quote, "WOW. We have never seen anything like this before. I am so impressed."
Teddy has been a true angel in our lives. I simply cannot imagine our lives without the little bundle of joy. He is the goofiest, most loving, and smartest little pup I have ever met. He loves to learn and at 4 months has mastered sit, down, paw, high five, stay, leave it, drop it, place, ringing a bell to go out, roll over, and spin with no formal training. He was extremely easy to potty train and has had no accidents for over a month. He is excellent with other dogs and has regular play dates several times a week with another dog in our building. He also is the BEST with people of all ages, old, young, babies, you name it. He is a lover. We get stopped several times a day by people asking what breed he is/where he's from. We went with a cockapoo for their temperament of being funny but also snuggly and sensitive and Teddy is all that and more.
I cannot recommend Destiny enough. We are already thinking about getting another pup in the future and will 100% be coming back to Chesley Hill Cockapoos when that time comes. Thank you so much, Destiny for giving us the best boy we could ever ask for."

Once we came across Chesley Hill Cockapoos we instantly fell in love with the openness, caring and compassionate family that was raising, what seems like, the most adorable puppies in the world. "I started researching reputable breeders and came across Chesley Hill Cockapoos. I had made up my mind about a particular breed but the dilemma was to find a reputable breeder who practiced ethical principals. We feel utterly privileged to have found Destiny Groen who lovingly hand nurtures cockapoo puppies until they find their fur-ever homes. Destiny is so responsive to calls and emails and I flooded her with questions. Once I was placed on her wait list, I watched with delight as my future pup's mom (Noel) became pregnant and followed the pregnancy and subsequent birth of the litter with bated breath. Destiny posts delightful instagram and facebook pics so that I could look at the litter as they were growing. At 6 weeks, we visited Destiny at her beautiful home in New Hampshire, where I met not only Destiny, but one of her four boys. It was at that time that I selected the pup from a very well organized system which is utterly fair to all the families awaiting pups. Destiny's entire family is instrumental in the raising of these pups; they are showered with love and positive training as they learn to navigate their new world. At 8 weeks, we returned to her home and picked up our darling boy, Themba. Destiny gives each new family a packet with food, a blanket from the whelping box, a travel drinking mug, toys and just about everything needed to get you through the first few weeks. Our Themba is a beautiful pup with a calm, loving nature. He has enriched our lives in so many ways.The quality of our pup is a reflection on Destiny and her family who hand raise each pup providing a stimulating and nurturing environment. "The cockapoo breed are my love of a fur baby. After losing ours to an illness suddenly, I wasn’t sure if I would be able to open my heart again. After some time I began to research breeders. I had decided on a female and love the buff colored coat. My journey began, Destiny was clearly our choice. She was so knowledgeable and helpful with all of our questions. The process began, we patiently waited for our “little princess “. Destiny called us after the birth and sent pictures. She kept us very informed on photo shoots, vet visits, growth and any questions we would have. We would not meet Ireland until she was coming home ( since we lived 9 hours away). We still hadn’t decided on a name, but on our drive to New Hampshire we stopped in an Irish shop. It was next to a restaurant Rudi’s. Rudi was our previous cockapoo, so we named our new puppy Ireland (Faith) so she could too keep her birth name. When we arrived at Destiny’s, she and her family were so welcoming. From the very first minute of being in their home, you could feel the love for these puppies. To see the puppies playing with her children was so sweet. We began our journey back to New Jersey with our new puppy an a special “tote bag” that Destiny packed for Ireland. Her favorite item from the bag was a piece of her Mommas blanket. To this day, 5 years later it is still in her bed. It is always a reminder to me of her loving and caring beginning to the world. Ireland is always ready to play. She is lovable and follows me everywhere I go. “My little shadow” She loves to give puppy kisses, go on walks and snuggle. She always has to be in the middle, to let you know “here I am”. We love her excitement when we come home. It doesn’t matter if your gone 2 hours or 5 minutes, she can wag her tail like no other. "I can’t tell you how many times in a given week, someone in the family states “I can’t imagine our life without Clark!”. We were fortunate enough to meet Destiny through our search for cockapoo breeders and from the very first email, I could tell that we met someone who truly cared for animals in general, but who also understood the importance of the decision to bring a new puppy into your home. She answered all of my (very naïve) questions with patience, was extremely responsive and I always felt that she was just as excited as we were about the whole process. On our visit to hand select Clark from the litter, Destiny was just as warm and kind in person and when we finally picked him up to bring him home,

"I drove 8 hours to New Hampshire from Buffalo, NY to bring Piper to her forever home in 2017. I went to a meet and greet for her litter to pick out my puppy. As soon as I was able to meet all the puppies, Piper was the one who came up to me and sat on my leg while the other puppies ran around. I knew she was the one because she “picked me”. Piper has been the best pup and I can tell that she was well cared for by Destiny for the first 8 weeks of her life. She has stayed very involved with her puppies and has watched them grow over time. We loved Piper so much that we got another cockapoo named Dora who was from the same parents in 2020. They are both so different but so special in their own ways. Dora is still a pup, and very curious and loves to explore everything. They are by far the best dogs I have ever had and I can bring them everywhere because of their friendly and outgoing personalities. They have brought so much love and joy to our family and they have become the best of friends. "Deciding to bring a puppy into our home was a year-long, thoughtful process. Our ten-year-old daughter wanted nothing more, my husband was a veteran dog owner and fully onboard, but I had never owned a dog. I was nervous. But from the moment we found Destiny, we found a perfect fit. It was clear from the application process that not only were her puppies loved and nurtured from birth, but the families they ended up with mattered too. As he grew, we were able to follow our puppy's litter online with pictures and updates of him nestling with siblings, learning to navigate on all fours, and being loved by Destiny's boys. There were explanations about how the puppies were encouraged to potty train, crate train, and the beginnings of socialization, all within a loving, home environment. Destiny provided all the information we needed on what to expect before we brought our new puppy home. In April 2020, just after the start of the pandemic, we finally picked up our new bundle of fur, Winston (aka Burple). Destiny couldn't have been more helpful safely arranging the pick-up, and since that time, she has always been available to answer any questions we have had. Being raised in a loving, family home made Winston's transition to our's virtually seamless. He was easily potty-trained within a few weeks, appreciated his toys (versus chewing on our sofa!), was not afraid of strangers or other dogs, and was eating kibble. Winston is now the center of our home. At eleven months old, he's approximately 27 lbs. (biggest in his litter), grazes during the day, is super excited for his walks, and has the sweetest disposition. We would definitely work with Destiny again!"

"Everyday we say 'what would we do without Bleecker?' He is everything we wanted in a dog. He gets along very well with all dogs big and small, loves playing fetch, and he is quick to learn any new tricks or commands. The process with Destiny was amazing. "My husband and I were both first time dog owners and had no clue where to start. We narrowed down breeds and (despite being states away) decided on Destiny after a lot of conversations and questions. Picking out Sulley was an adventure and Destiny was so patient with us (me) during the process; it took us entirely too long to choose our pup. All the pups are SO cute, which made it hard to decide! "Our Sammy is the smartest, mischievous and happiest little girl. Sammy came from Sandie’s litter and her given name from Destiny was Abilene. We loved that name so much that we added it as a middle name and gave her a distinguished formal name -- Samantha Abilene --but everyone knows her as Sammy. She just melts our hearts constantly. Living in a little beach town and surrounded by young children and dogs, it’s just amazing to watch Sammy gravitate to really young children as we go on walks. When she hears little children’s voices on their bikes and skate boards, she always pulls me in their direction and wants to get in on the action to play, especially when a skate board is around. I have to say that this amazing happy connection that Sammy has with children clearly stems from the environment that Sammy was born into. Destiny and her children are just amazing and very loving with the pups. That love, affection and warmth has made a huge difference in Sammy’s demeanor as it shaped her personality during the first couple of months of her life. Sammy loves to run on the beach with her ball and other dogs. She loves her toys but she prefers her squeaky tennis balls of which she has about 25. When I take her on walks, she always takes a ball in her mouth with her. We are definitely planning on adding another cockapoo or two to our family, from Destiny of course."

"Looking for your first pup or Cockapoo? I was looking for my first when I adopted a pup from Destiny! After reaching out to a few breeders, I ended up adopting a Cockapoo and the process with Destiny was extremely easy and informative throughout. I had the opportunity to meet and choose a pup around their 5th week of age (my pup chose me with lots of licks and attention). Pickup was at 8 weeks of age. On puppy pickup day, my pup was all cleaned up and Destiny provided a tote bag with some starter supplies and information, which proved very useful over the next few months! We have kept in touch to this day sharing pictures and updates, and Destiny is always curious how she's doing. My pup was very comfortable with crates and did not require any additional training to use a crate when she came home. She was also very well socialized and makes friends very quickly with other dogs (all sizes) and people (of all ages)! I cannot express how many times she has received compliments from others about her personality and behavior! She was the star of her training classes. After her most recent trip to the groomer, the groomer told me I really lucked out with her and that my pup makes grooming very easy. I attribute all of this back to how she was raised when she was still with her mother and Destiny's family! If you're looking for your first pup, a Cockapoo or a loyal companion, definitely consider Destiny's pups!

(Wearing fleece & not sweaters was good advice! ) Thank you! Chewie is growing into a joyful puppy in our home. We all love snuggling him. He likes other dogs which makes walks fun. Chewie is cautious meeting new people or things like trash cans, fire hydrants, vacuums, or a rake. This adds some humor to walks and we give him time to meet everything. I had forgotten that the world is SO BIG and NEW in their eyes! Puppy training and consistent schedule is really hard work the 1st 3 weeks- but we all adapted and it is getting easier now. Chewie is learning so fast I can tell he’s smart! At 12 weeks old, he knows “sit”, “lay down”, and “come” commands. Today, he went to the door when he needed to go out! "I knew exactly one thing when I met Destiny – that I wanted a cockapoo. Outside of this one fact, I really knew little about what it meant to be a dog owner. We ADORE our best bud, Dabo! Being first time Cockapoo owners, our family felt incredibly supported and prepared to bring Dabo home because of the thorough information given to us by Destiny. It was such a pleasure working with her from the very first email, to the day we picked Dabo up at her home. We were very impressed with how Destiny and her family cared for and trained our pup before we picked him up. She even invited us into her home on Christmas Eve to bring Dabo to his new home!
Dabo has a sweet, playful disposition and he loves to snuggle! Living in Vermont, Dabo LOVES the snow, rafting on the river and hiking in the woods. He loves to bird watch, and is an obvious bird dog. We love the way he ‘points’ when listening and smelling for birds and little creatures in the woods. He’s wicked smart too! He loves to perform tricks for treats, which is very fitting since he was born just before Halloween and his initial temporary name was, “Hershey’s Kiss’! Dabo loves other dogs - we take him to a doggie play group each week so he can get his canine time - he LOVES it!
Destiny's genuine love and care for each puppy shows in the puppy's demeanor and disposition.
