Haslingden Cricket Club have applied to Viridor Credits for funding to improve the drainage so that the club can develop, encourage others to play cricket and provide a facility for other local community groups to play sport.  Please support us in our application for funding.

There has been deterioration in the drainage of the pitch over the last two seasons which has resulted in matches being abandoned or not started.  This is particularly frustrating when other matches in the area have been played without any problem and the club want to prevent this from happening in the future. Haslingden Cricket Club encourage other community based groups to use the cricket facilities in order to play sport and host sporting events. As the ground has deteriorated, it has become more difficult for the Club to make the ground available to be used by these groups.
