August 2, 2023 - Regarding their 2020 vintage I wrote on CT:
"Second wine of Miraval (from Pitt/Jolie) and nearly as good as their first wine. Made from mediterranean grape varieties such as Cinsault, Grenache, Rolle, and Tibouren grown between the Rhone delta and Monaco.
Pale pink colour. I first noticed the salty minerality, which - combined with crisp acidity (light RS) - felt refreshing. In addition I got red currants and strawberries. Brilliant summer/beach wine with crowd pleaser potential."
2021 feels a bit simpler/lighter, but nevertheless is highly quaffable and I enjoyed it. -
