Witham Dolphins swimmers came away with some great results from the annual Ipswich Open Swimming gala.
Heloise Hall came away with gold in the girls’ 50 metre freestyle event and Maia McPherson was third in the girls’ 100m breaststroke.
There was also a placing in the 50m breaststroke for Anna Godwin, who managed five personal bests (PBs) in her six events.
Also competing and with some great PBs were Beth Bentley, Lily Fletcher, Aoife Marley, Jasmine Wood, Isabelle McPherson, Rosie McCann, Joe Bentley, Lewis Sackman and Ryan Shaw.
Three of the club’s swimmers also competed at the Deben Distance gala, swimming the 800m freestyle event.
Isobel Banning and Beth Bentley both had good swims as did McPherson, who also achieved an Essex County qualification time.
