Welcome to Borough Bowling Club

One of the oldest crown green clubs on the East Coast, situated in Scarborough, North Yorkshire.
We are a friendly, progressive club and welcome new members of any age
or ability who wish to bowl socially or join teams.

Lack of experience is not a problem as bowls may be loaned and coaching given.

Social Bowling times are :-

Monday 1pm.  Tuesday 11am.  Friday 1pm.  Saturday 10am. but 9am on the 6  Saturdays when the ‘C’ team are at home

About Us

We are based at Manor Road Scarborough, a member of Scarborough and District Bowling Association.

Subscriptions are £70 full member, £35 (18-21 yrs old), £6 (under 18), £5 (Social)

A once and only £16.50 B.C.G.B.A. registration fee is also payable for all new members.
A green fee of £2.00 per session to visitors

Club History

Borough Bowling Club was founded in 1905. It is the oldest surviving crown green club on Yorkshire’s East Coast and its green on Manor Road, opened in 1902, is the oldest of its kind in the area.
