Medway Diving Contactors is one of the oldest established diving companies in the United Kingdom. The company was founded in 1970 as a mainland diving company by Jim Hutchison. Jim’s career began in 1939, when he was a trained diver in the Royal Navy. Currently, the Managing Director and Senior Diving Supervisor is Peter Hutchison who joined the company in 1976.
Medway Diving is situated in Rochester, Kent. Our depot is based in Chatham Dockyard on the River Medway. We are registered with the HSE as an inshore/inland diving contractor. We are a full member of the Association of Diving Contactors.
Our company undertakes a variety of diving work. This includes:

- Construction and demolition
- Ship repair
- Overseas projects
- Inspections and surveys
- Underwater maintenance
