Five city firms swapped offices for the bowling green.
Ashton-on-Ribble’s bowling and social club played host to the corporate bowls event.
Teams from FWP Ltd, PWA Planning, Harrison Drury Solicitors, Cassidy + Ashton and David Cox Architects battled it out to be crown green champions.

Blessed with warm temperatures and spring sunshine it was the team from David Cox Architects who found their line and length to win.
Michael Bates-Tracey, Associate at FWP, is a keen bowler and member of the Ashton club and helped to organise the event, which was also attended by FWP founding partner Frank Whittle.
Michael said: “We were delighted to be one of the sponsors of this inaugural corporate competition at Ashton-on-Ribble Bowling and Social Club for what was a brilliant afternoon.
“The competition was keenly contested in a friendly atmosphere and congratulations must go to the David Cox Architects team who emerged as worthy winners.
“As well as being great fun, it was also a great networking event, and all our thanks go to everyone at the club for providing such great hospitality.”

Alan Ball, secretary at Ashton-on-Ribble Bowling and Social Club, is helping to engage with Preston businesses as the club looks to give back to the local community.
