Broadway Academy School in Perry Barr is building on the excitement of the Commonwealth Games in 2022 by forming a unique partnership with Birmingham’s biggest community basketball club.

The Academy is joining forces with the City of Birmingham Rockets Basketball Club to provide an educational and sporting experience in partnership with the Broadway Sixth Form.

Rockets’ staff have a proven track record of producing elite athletes which will continue at Broadway Academy School.

Utilising existing national and international partnerships Rockets will endeavour to support elite players in finding the most suitable situation once graduating from the academy to pursue their basketball careers.

Staff will work closely with the school to develop able students and young people, ready to progress in the modern world – in basketball or beyond.
