Betagro is committed to promoting good health on a sustainable basis and supporting Thai athletes in achieving global success

Betagro continues to support a good quality of life and people's health as the younger generation increasingly focus on exercising and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The company is also committed to supporting the development and potential of Thai athletes to push beyond their limits with the Sports Sponsorship program. The four elite athletes are important role models for young Thai athletes, together with their achievements and professionalism, which offer inspiration in focusing on physical and mental strength.

Mr. Vasit Taepaisitphongse, CEO & President, Betagro PCL, said that good health is the basis for sustainable living. Betagro recognizes the need for safer and better-quality food. This is the reason the company is producing foods that promote and sustain good health and is going further by contributing to society under the sustainable development framework with a special focus on healthy living and well-being.

Sports help us gain and improve our physical strength and also resonate with today's lifestyles as an increasing number of people are focused on exercise and camaraderie through sports. However, it is important to remember that both physical activities and good food, when combined, help strengthen and enhance our health – both physically and mentally, allowing people to better achieve their goals in life through healthy living and a sustainable happiness approach.

Betagro's sports sponsorship, mainly focused on golf and football, is currently supporting 10 emerging Thai golfers, as they compete in global competitions bringing pride to Thailand. This includes four professional golfers acting as Betagro Global Brand Ambassadors, led by 'Pro-Chang' Thongchai Jaidee, the first Thai golfer who recently won the PGA Tour Champions and was 27th in the Official World Golf Ranking; 'Pro-Mo' Moriya and 'Pro-May' Ariya Jutanugarn, two Thai women golfers ranked 51st and 52nd respectively; and 'Pro-Arm' Kiradech Aphibarnrat, who has been getting some great scores from various tournaments. Other leading pro-golfers backed by Betagro are 'Pro-Chai' Pawit Tangkamonprasert, 'Pro-Dan' Danthai Boonma, 'Pro-Phet' Pachara Kongwatmai, 'Pro-Jan' Wichamanee Mechai, 'Pro-Cherry' Thiranan U-Pan, and 'Pro-Air' Sarutaya Ngamusawan.

Betagro is also contributing by sponsoring world-class tournaments such as the Honda LPGA Thailand Women's Golf Tournament, as well as major Thai tournaments including the All Thailand Golf Tour. During the second half of the year, the pro-golfers under the Betagro Global Brand Ambassador program are scheduled to compete and collect scores in major tournaments such as the AIG Women's Open, CME Group Tour Championship, Rocket Mortgage Classic, Wyndham Championship, FedEx St. Jude Championship, Omega European Masters, and Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, among others. Betagro will continue providing behind-the-scenes support to each Thai golfer on their journey to achieving global success.

In addition to golf, Betagro also supports football, a team sport where athletes undergo intense and consistent training with a need for discipline, teamwork and focus to be successful. Betagro is the official sponsor of the Lamphun Warrior Football Club, also known as 'The White Cattles,' which has performed very successfully as a team, having finally reached the Thai League 1 Division.

“Over the past two decades, Betagro is proud to have supported and encouraged people in sports. We want to play a contributing role in the development of sports personnel, professionalism, and will continue to further support Thai athletes over the long-term,” said Mr. Vasit.
