Almondsbury
Ladies Netball Club was formed over 30 years ago and has
fielded senior netball teams in the league since then.
We have two Premier Division sides and this season
we started a third side who play in Division Three.

The
club has grown over the past two seasons due to many new players
joining the Club.
Many of our players have represented the County at both senior
and junior level. The club is fortunate to have many qualified
umpires and players with coaching experience.
We have a friendly group of players who train weekly, regardless
of the weather, with a strong commitment towards training and
the Club.
Three seasons ago we started a junior section with a handful
of girls, all daughters of senior players, and we now have over
35 girls training every week.
We currently run two U16's and one U14 team in the Avon Junior
League. Many of our players have been selected for the County
squads.
This season we have been fortunate to be sponsored by DJM Uk
Ltd and this has allowed us to purchase new kit for the girls.
Almondsbury has always encouraged the development of junior
players and some of them play in the senior teams - this can
only be good for the future of the club. |
