Aldwickbury Park Wedding – Fatima & Shkar
As a wedding photographer, it’s always an honour to be asked to capture a couple’s special day. I was particularly excited to photograph Fatima and Shkar’s wedding reception at Aldwickbury Park Golf Club, as I had previously photographed their wedding ceremony last year.
Aldwickbury Park Golf Club is located in Hertfordshire, and the stunning grounds make for a beautiful backdrop for any wedding. My coverage of the day began with bride prep at Aubrey Park Hotel. The groom was also getting ready at the same hotel, and my second photographer joined him to photograph his morning preparations.
The couple arrived together at Aldwickbury Park, and I took them straight off for couple portraits before taking group photos with family before the majority of their guests arrived. It was a beautiful day, and the weather was perfect for outdoor photos.
Speeches were given after the wedding breakfast, and it was a great opportunity to capture everyone’s reactions. After the speeches, we ventured out on the golf buggies for more couple portraits, taking advantage of the stunning tree-lined alley. We also captured some nighttime portraits using off-camera flash to help capture the dramatic sky.
The evening was filled with fun and excitement, with a surprise fireworks display and a packed dance floor. It was an incredible celebration, and I was honoured to be a part of it.
