Mimi Miller has loved Basa Caine most of her life. He is the brother of her best and only friend. Only because a scandal caused by her stepfather and uncle destroyed her both with friends and business. They actually fell into bed together at Alicia's birthday and she wants to tell him she never slept with anyone, but doesn't happen as planned and when he goes for champagne and doesn't return she runs away. She didn't realize that wasn't because he didn't want her but because of the scandal. When asked to film her best friend Alicia's wedding she must confront Basa again. He is cold and unyielding and when he whisks her away to his island so he can tell her how angry he is with her all truth comes out. Tangled web, yes , not knowing all the truth again yes, so they are able to confront the past and what happens is for the reader to see. Loved the story Basa was tough and hard as nails but has a soft core and Ms. Fuller gives an amazing HEA.
