LCC who won the toss and batted first had a slow start losing Jamie bowled in the second over and Russ out in the fourth over for 12. LCC were then 31-3 when John was caught by a sharp catch.

Rick and Barry then put on a good stand of 90 before Barry was out after a brief interlude when Wickens keeper received a nasty cut to his eye and was taken to hospital for treatment. Matt then came in and hit a superb 60 not out including some glorious 6's and with Rick who finished 87 not out completed LCC's innings of 245 for 4.

Wicken started badly losing 2 wickets for nine both to Josh preventing them from getting started and with good bowling and fielding were all out for 63. Josh was outstanding (4-0-3-5) as was Danny (4-1-1-9) and Tugger (4-0-2-12).

Faults in the outfield where hillocks were discovered the heavy roller was employed in the shape of captain marvel Dennis who soon eradicated them by rolling several yards over them in a vain attempt to stop a boundary. But undeterred he came on to bowl and soon skittled out the Wicken last order (4-1-3-10).

Man of the Match - Josh McMillan. It was a close call between him and Dicky who scored a superb and tiring 87 not out but Josh's three wickets and two catches earned him this weeks award.
