Records: Wilson 10-3, 5-0 CSAC; Bryn Athyn 1-12, 1-5 CSAC

How It Happened
  • Emma Bounds (So., Carlisle, Pa. / Boiling Springs) provided the first two goals of the game with the first coming just 4:57 into the contest. The second didn't take long to put up on the board as she found the back of the goal again 30 seconds later. Alexis Pflumm (Sr., Camden, Del. / Caesar Rodney) provided the assist on the first while Elizabeth Landon (Fy., West Grove, Pa. / Avon Grove) chalked up the helper on the second. Pflumm wasn't finished as she scored on an assist from Brea Kelso (So., Shippensburg, Pa. / Shippensburg) to make it 3-0 three minutes later. Hannah Aker (So., Yardley, Pa. / Pennsbury) then made it 4-0 on a dish from Abigail Rosenberry (Sr., Shippensburg, Pa. / Shippensburg).
  • In the second quarter, Pflumm started the scoring with her second of the game 2:21 into the frame. Hailey Steele (So., Biglerville, Pa. / Biglerville) quickly made it 6-0 just a couple minutes after that. Kaley Barnhart (Jr., Greencastle, Pa. / Greencastle) and Rachael Rementer (Sr., West Chester, Henderson) both scored later in the quarter to give Wilson an 8-0 lead at the half.
  • In the second half, Wilson was able to provide another pair of goals with Landon getting the credit for both. The first came 51 seconds into the third, while the second came with 8:09 to go in the game.
Inside The Numbers
  • This is the second time this season Wilson has reached double figures in goals. The first was an 11-0 defeat of Wells back on September 10.
  • Landon and Pflumm led the offense with two goals and an assist each. Bounds and Kelso also had multiple point games.
  • Nine different players scored at least a point for the Phoenix.
  • Goalkeeping was by committee with Allyson Shindler (Sr., Manchester, Pa. / Northeastern) getting the start. Emalee McCracken (Jr., Jonestown, Pa. / Northern Lebanon) and Emerson Grimes (So., York, Pa. / Central York) also saw time during the game.
  • The shutout was the fourth consecutive and fifth out of the last six games for the Phoenix. For the season they have eight blankings.
Up Next
