The new team will provide a fantastic opportunity for female players of all abilities to train, compete, and develop their skills in a supportive and encouraging environment. We are confident that Chadderton FC Women will become a valuable asset to the club and the wider community, and we are very excited for what the future holds for this new team. Not the way anyone wants to get to a final and have to spare a thought for the volunteers at Droylsden FC, but… Little Chaddy are back on track for some silverware to end the season! 🏆 📅 Saturday 11th May 🏟️ Accrington Stanley 🤝 Vs. Barnoldswick Town FC ⏰ 3pm Kick Off I suppose it makes up from our exit from the FA Cup this season due to an admin error! ⚽️ And with that, the 2023/24 season is over, the story of yesterday… So near, yet so far! Winning 3-1 at home and with Kendal Town FC losing, Little Chaddy had sneaked back into the play off places. Only for Kendal to come back 2-0 down and snatch a draw which means Chadderton Football Club finish the season in 6th place missing out on a play off spot on GOAL DIFFERENCE! 💔 But from favourites for relegation, to play off contenders we can be very proud of the our debut season in the NWC Premier Division. And what a way to round it off… 👥 Over 500 fans in attendance, we started the season with an average attendance of between 100 and 150. 🍽️ 40 Guests in the LWC Drinks Grand Central Lounge. This didn’t exist last season! ⚽️ Every player with a mascot, and for this game many of them with their own children and families as mascots. ⭐️ Our Junior teams enjoying the men’s team games. 🎤 A young volunteer named Jack not even a teenager yet, announcing the line ups and the teams. He has done every home game this season. And finally, after the game celebrations in the club house with families and friends. I even managed to finally get my girls to have a kick around with me on the pitch! 🫶🏻 The memories made this season will stay with me, from the two wins over Bury FC especially the win at Gigg Lane, to grinding out the 1-0 win over Wythenshawe Town at home. I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to the 50+ new commercial partners at the club this season, I am 100% going to forget someone but Talent Recruitment Group, Talent Education, Talent Accountancy & Finance, James Done, Sam Higginbottom ACMA CGMA, VPS Group, Michael Ward, Paul Johnson, LWC Drinks, DCW Accounting Limited, Diane Clarkson-Wright, TRAILAR, Denny Hulme, Falcon Fire Ltd, Joshua Braddish, Danny Simpson FIOD, MID Digital Solutions, KE SUPPLIES LTD, Phill Cooper, Fused Sport, Adam Pickersgill, Ryan Bradbury, Niall Barnes, Michael Lindup, Adnan Yousaf, Graham Kelly, Scott Hewson… We’ve laid foundations this season and there’s a huge close season for the club in progress, keep an eye on #LittleChaddy - not bad for a bus stop in #Oldham! #UpTheChad 🔴⚽️⚪️
