Assistant GREENKEEPER May 2024 Title: Assistant Greenkeeper Reports to: Head greenkeeper Are you looking to work outdoors, in a rewarding job with a close nit team, making the environment better?? Want a change? want to enjoy working? BFGC is a friendly local grass roots golf club with a growing membership. We have a full time or part time positions available Teamwork and flexibility are key attributes required to work in this position.                                 Full time Hours 40 per week   Part time Hours 20 per week over 2 weekdays ½ day weekend. Shared weekend working is required on a rota. 6.30 am starts daily, you get to see the best part of the day. A good level of fitness is required as the role is a manual role, also working outdoors in all weather conditions. Training will be given Work wear provided Free Parking, clubhouse discount, Salary dependant on experience. Training will be given Grounds Maintenance or Horticultural background Ideal but not necessary. They must have a flexible and positive attitude to work. Be able to achieve a high level of attention to detail and lead and build a team of dedicated staff. You will report directly to the Club Manager and organise the day to day running of the course and practice facilities as well as managing the club’s greenkeeping team. The applicant must have their own transport and be willing to work rotated weekend mornings. You will have complimentary use of the course as a Full Member Bulwell Forest Golf Club Head Greenkeeper The Ideal Candidate will have: Minimum NVQ/SVQ level 2, ideally level 3 for this position.
