DENTON, Texas (April 1, 2024) – Following the conclusion of the regular season and conference tournaments, the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) named the Division II Regular Season All-Americans.

For the Texas Woman's gymnastics team, three Pioneers claimed All-American status.

The WCGA honors a first and second team gymnast for each event and all-around. First team honorees have the highest National Qualifying Score (NQS) on that event in Division II, and second team claims the second highest NQS.

While the Pioneers had three honorees, two TWU gymnasts claimed two All-America honors for a total of five All-American honors for the Pioneers.

TWU swept the vault category, as Kaitlyn Hoiland earned her first All-America honor with the highest NQS in Division II – a 9.855. Daisy Woodring claimed second team honors with a 9.840 NQS. This marks Woodring's third WCGA Regular Season All-America honor on vault.

Hoiland claimed her second All-America award on bars, earning second team honors with a 9.845 NQS.

Finally, on floor, the Pioneers swept the honors. Sophie Hernandez earned the first All-America honor of her career, as she was named to the First Team with a 9.970 NQS. Not far behind, earning Second Team accolades, was Woodring with a 9.860 NQS. This marked Woodring's second straight season to be named an All-American on floor.

The Pioneers claimed the most Regular Season All-American awards in Division II for 2024 with five total.

"I am so very proud of these Pioneers," TWU Head Coach Lisa Bowerman said. "Being recognized as Regular Season All-Americans is a testament to their exceptional consistency throughout the season. They are all phenomenal student-athletes and very deserving of this incredible honor."
