Controversial animal rights activist Tash Peterson has taken her eye-catching stunts to the next level – turning heads on a busy city street.
The Melbourne-based full-time animal rights activist slipped inside a “human-sized meat tray” alongside two other vegan activists in Sydney’s busy Pitt Street Mall on Thursday morning.
The demonstration was designed to make pedestrians think twice about eating meat.
Working alongside the international animal rights organisation, PETA, Ms Peterson lay nude inside a cardboard box covered in fake blood and sealed with a clear sheet of plastic to mimic the packaging of raw meat.
Tasha Peterson was joined by full-time animal guardian Alicia Pan and peaceful animal activist, Bailey, who also stripped down for the performance protest.
