HED Promotions returns after a three year hiatus to put together a series of fundraising events for the 'Save The Ferret' campaign. 100% of all ticket sales from the event will go to the fundraiser. Rook & The Ravens have toured far and wide, from Dublin in Ireland to Dublin in California, from Nashville Tennessee to Saltburn-by-the-Sea. Doing so they've kept a loyal fan base and remained proudly independent. "Their three-part harmonies are on par with Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Newer songs rival Bends-era Radiohead and rock harder than early Queen. What other band can do all that and still sound at least as contemporary as Alt-J and Fleet Foxes?"

Gideon Conn is known for effortlessly blending acoustic folk and hip hop. His unique performance style never fails to impress. He has previously toured across the UK with the likes of Dan le Sac vs Scroobius Pip, Jason Mraz & Bunty. He has also made appearances at various festivals including Glastonbury, Bestival & Latitude.
MCHALE'S PERMANENT BREW

A heady five piece blues-rock concoction formed from the embers of Cat Called Dog and Selenium. They are fresh from playing the Clonakilty International Guitar Festival this summer. This will be their first appearance at the Ferret. So, make them feel welcome.

Seamus has cemented himself into local folklore with his excellent guitar play, immense vocal range and genuine on-stage charm. Live highlights include playing a set at SXSW festival in Texas and over the years he has gigged long and hard across the UK and USA.
All takes place on Thursday 8th December at The Ferret, Preston.

Earlier this year, The Ferret received a bombshell email. The owners of the building had put it up for sale, potentially letting the place fall into the hands of a developer and putting The Ferret at serious risk of closure.
It's absolutely vital that this grassroots music venue is saved, for the people of Preston & beyond.
We've already secured £500k via our friends at the Music Venue Trust! We now need to raise the final £150k to buy the venue & continue hosting live music for years to come.
