Hanshi Mario Di paola 8th Dan Jiu-Jitsu

Mario Di paola is the founder and senior technical officer for Survival Martial Arts Academy and has over 42 years martial arts experience and currently holds the rank of 8th degree black belt,
awarded by Hanshi John Greenhalgh 10th dan Salford Jiu Jitsu Group, as well as other dan grades in Kobudo Japanese weaponry and Iaido samurai sword. Mario also holds City and Guilds in Jiu Jitsu and Sports Coaching.
In 2001, Mario traveled to Canada and Russia where he trained with the Russian special forces and was certified to teach by Vladimir Vasiliev.
Mario's training has taken him all over the country and world as he conducts seminars, as well as students travelling from as far as Scotland for private tuition.
In 2017 Mario was invited to seminars in Italy & Portugal where he taught. He also was very privileged to be invited to teach at the world jiu jitsu federation H.Q. in Liverpool by Kancho Robert Hart.
In 2018 Mario was kindly invited back to Portugal to teach by another high ranking Master Hanshi John Greenhalgh 10th Dan jiu jitsu.

Sensei Eva Roberts 3rd Dan Jiu-Jitsu

When Eva started training in early 2004, she had a fear of not knowing what to expect. Mario thought she would never make it but with her hard work and determination, Eva had gained her black belt in March 2007, training 3 times a week.
Eva continued and gained 2nd Dan and is now training for her 3rd Dan. She has shown great determination and true character. In 2018 Eva passed her 3rd Dan grading.

Sensei Mark Webster 2nd Dan Jiu-Jitsu

Mark started training in karate as a child. He joined Survival Martial Arts in 1995 and gained his first Dan in 1998. Mark stopped training in 2004 due to other commitments and came back in 2014 with his son. Mark is currently training for his 2nd Dan in Jiu Jitsu, which he gained in 2017.
