ABOUT US
Stix Baton Twirlers are a baton twirling club that practice in Norwich and Dereham We teach girls and boys from 4-21 twirling and dance skills using pom poms, baton, 2 baton and 3 batons as well as incorporating basic gymnastics and ballet. We aim to promote fitness as well as to help improve confidence and hand eye coordination, we also teach life skills such as self-discipline and team work whilst at the same time having fun and making new friends. We are members of the BBTSA (British Baton Twirling Sports Association) and take part in competitions, training days and grading days throughout the year. Our competing athletes get to do so as an individual and team. Not everyone has to take part in competitions but we do encourage it as it improves the athlete’s confidence and gives them the opportunity to travel and make friends all over the country. When we are not competing we take part in community fun days and local parades, it gives the girls and boys a break from competing and also a chance to pick up new members. If you would like to become a baton twirler and would like to join our team, see the join us page to choose your location for more information.
