John Simmonds – Memorial Celebration

On the 11th of September, a Wake was held to mark the passing of John Simmons. John was a past president; club Captain and secretary of the Standon & Puckeridge Bowls Club as well as an active member of the East Herts Bowling Association (EHBA).

Lankester Cup June 12th 2021

Saturday June 12th saw Club members come together to compete for the Lankester Cup – a competition that has been held for many years. The competition this year was a pairs competition and the final was played between Ralph Granville & Pauline Bailey versus Bob Swann and Ian Smith with Bob & Ian running out the winners!
