Llynfi Valley (Bridgend) 'Huddle' 2021

Welcome to Huddle, Powered by Weetabix, where girls, across Wales, fall in love with football.

In conjunction with our friends at Llangynwyd Rangers FC we are running weekly informal fab new 'Huddle' session - Llynfi Valley (Bridgend) - Mondays 5-6pm.   Sessions will be held every Monday (except bank holidays) until end of the summer school term.  All absolutely free.

Parents told us that their girls love coming along to Huddle because it’s fun, they can explore different games with their friends and they learn new skills in a relaxed environment.

As the number of registered female football players reaches an all-time high, across Wales, we're excited to team-up with Britain's best family breakfast cereal to expand our introductory programme for girls to learn to love football in a safe, fun and friendly environment.

We had a superb response to our sessions , so in order to better manage numbers and give everyone a better experience we ask all parents to sign up for the Llynfi Valley session at www.huddle.cymru and also complete this registration form once.

We don’t want anyone to miss out so we will be (from next Monday – 26th April) be moving to 2 x 1 hour ‘Huddle’ sessions.

Why? To enable the group size to be more manageable and provide a better football (skills) experience for all.

The session will be split by school year group:

•       5-6pm: Early Years / Year 1 / Year 2

•       6-7pm: Year 3 / Year 4 / Year 5 / Year 6

This should mean that the group is fairly equally split.  Age and prior football experience should be broadly similar.

We understand that you may have more than 1 child in each group, or that you may not be able to make the early or later session – thus feel free to pick a single session to best suit your needs.  We won’t turn anyone away.  There is no need to re-register.

Due to social distancing regulations - adults must remain outside the perimeter and maintain social distancing at all times.

Please bring trainers, wet weather gear (if applicable) and drinks.

Please note that the event is COVID compliant but is subject to COVID restrictions and subject to change.  All coaches and volunteers involved are DBS checked.
