Pitching In Southern Football League Division One South club Bristol Manor Farm won 2-0 at Toolstation Western League Premier Division side Clevedon Town`s Everyone Active Stadium on Wednesday night.

After a cagey, but competitive opening 45 minutes, Manor Farm broke the deadlock after 55 minutes when they were awarded a penalty for handball.

The club`s recent signing from Southern Premier Division South side Taunton Town, Owen Howe, comfortably dispatched his spot-kick past the Seasiders` keeper.

But that was to be virtually the striker`s last piece of action as, 5 minutes later, he was adjudged to have used an elbow in an aerial dual with Clevedon`s Glen Hayer and was subsequently shown a second yellow card.

However, the ten-man visitors ensured victory in the 67th minute when Marcus Day`s corner was volleyed home by Mike Bryant.

Meanwhile, Manor Farm announced that they have reached agreement with Gloucestershire County League neighbours Shirehampton to groundshare at The Creek for the 2021/22 season.

Shirehampton will play their league and cup matches at The Creek while they work on their own Penpole Lane ground to make it suitable for Western League level, which is their aim.
