Thai golf course booking app Golfdigg bags over US$650K funding

Golfdigg will use the funds to reach out to a larger base of customers who fit the golfing lifestyle and to drive marketing

Intouch Holdings Public Company Limited (PCL) has, through its corporate venture capital arm InVent, invested 23.84 million Thai Baht (US$674,000) in Golfdigg, according to an official release today.

“This platform will help both Thai and international golfers by providing a convenient and simple way to book golf [course] time slots, including a points collection [system] for redeeming rewards such as merchandise and services,” said Bhurich Aksorntub, CEO and Co-founder of Golfdigg Co Ltd.

Golfdigg is the seventh company InVent has invested in.

“Golfdigg is an innovative IT developer that enjoys favourable feedback from both end-users as well as golf course owners. The design and development took more than one year, resulting in an application that combines booking and payment in the same app,” said Thanapong Na Ranong, Vice President of Intouch Holdings PCL.
