Agones Aquathlon 2024

General Information
Agones Sfc will be organizing an Aquathlon.
The event, which is endorsed by the Malta Triathlon Federation and valid for the triathlete of the year award 2024 as from this year will adopt the World Triathlon Aquathlon Format and therefore will consist of a 1km Swim followed by 5km Run, with a time limit of 90 minutes.
Race will be held on the 28th July 2024
The race venue will be PRETTY BAY, Birzebbuga.
Race Starts at 7.00am
Race briefing will be held at 6.50am. Females and Males will have a separate start.
ARRTS will be timing the event. ARRTS timing chips shall be used. All those who do not have an ARRTS timing chip need to hire one on the day from race venue for €5.
Run will take place on the promenade & pavements and therefore traffic free. Roads will not be closed to traffic.
All finishers will receive a medal.

In case of bad weather, the race director will take the necessary decisions 30 minutes prior to the event.
Junior Races will be included and held according to the Aquathlon Distances set by the Malta Triathlon Federation.
In case of cancellation, the event will be postponed to a later date and no refund will be given.
