Hollingworth Lake Sailing Club, in Littleborough near Rochdale, attracted some 60 visitors to a successful Push the Boat Out Day. Many of the visitors were families and there were also a couple of past members wanting to get back into the sport.

On a sunny and breezy day, which could be challenging on the water, all seemed to enjoy the opportunity to have a taster session with at least 20 of them taken out on the water in either the Club's RS Visions or GP14.

This was the third time that the Club has participated in this event which is bringing an increase in Club membership and enthusiasm for our Training Sessions which are now fully booked.

Thanks to support from Sport England, the Club will soon take delivery of two new GP14 dinghies to help new members into the sport.
