Runners Up

Olney Bowling Club Men's Team

The Olney Team just failed to win in the final against Newport Pagnell at Bletchley St Martins.  The runners up cheque of £150 will be used to buy a lawn bowls bowling arm which will be available to any members who may have issues which are making bowling difficult for them.

Buckinghamshire Bowling Association

THE RAY KEEN LEAGUE

BBA Northern Division Leagues

***  Congratulations to our two teams who took part in the 2023  ***

*** Competition ***

Our two teams played some creditable games this year with Olney Athletic and Olney Oddfellows doing well in their respective leagues.

Congratulations to Olney Under 25 player

Harvey Whitmack

Olney Bowling Club

Harvey was selected at a recent Bucks Junior Academy day at Aylesbury, where he impressed the County Selectors so much that they have called him up to Join the Bucks U25's County team.

As a result, he was playing in the Bowls England White Rose Trophy for Buckingamshire where his team performed so well at the finals in Leamington Spa, winning the trophy by beating neighbouring county Northamptonshire by 42-30

The Club wishes Harvey much success in future games and we look forward to some of our other Juniors will be following in his footsteps at County level.

Whilst congratulations go to all the winners, they would not have appeared here if it hadn't been for their opponents so on behalf of the Club Committee, well done to all who took part no matter the outcome of individual games.
