Northumberland Linskill Bowling Club was formed in 2006 for the 2007 season after the amalgamation of the old Northumberland Bowling Club which formed in 1889 and Linskill Bowling Club which formed in 1904.
We play our matches at Northumberland Park, King Edwards Road, North Shields. Opposite Tynemouth Golf Course.
We have a new pavilion which opened at the start of the 2015 season; our pavilion and green is also shared with another bowling club, Percy.
During the winter we open up our pavilion for a coffee morning on the first Saturday of each Month, 10am to 11.30am, we would make anyone coming along feel very welcome. So come along and meet our members and ask any questions you may have.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR NEW MEMBERS FOR THE COMING SEASON. We have two coach's who coach for five weeks at the start of the season, one who is a member and another comes from a different club to help out.
The club play in:

Knott Cup on Monday Evenings and this is a mixed league.for Ladies and Men

Clegg 4 on Wednesday evenings men only league

Hately League on a Thursday afternoon Players must be over 55 and retired but is for Ladies and Men

NLBC : Members can roll up at any time but we tend to meet on Tuesday and Saturday Afternoon 1.30pm.
We play in-club competitions and then we have a presentation night every year and each winner and runner up gets a trophy to keep for a year as well as a trophy for you to keep.
