Another Bourne offering – see here for the other recent additions in this category.
As usual, there are a couple of things worth noting:
The Argentina home differed from the real one used at the World Cup – apparently the AFA didn’t like the black pinstripes – while the Ireland away has green sleeves and the USA away(featured correctly on the cover) has a collar.
The CADs of the Coventry kits feature the Peugeot logo differently to how the real thing would.
The Mitre Cameroon flag-based home shirt was sadly replaced by a far more staid design (similar design to the Norwich one) for the World Cup, while the ‘Morrocco’ [sic] shirts have now become very sought-after – they were available back then for just under £30.
How much would a Leeds United crest and the Thistle Hotels logo cost? Well, the Leeds away – which would be superseded by the green and blue third for 1994-95 – is £11.04 dearer than the long-sleeve teamwear version which features in the picture above it on the last page.
Interesting tidbit here… note the then-new Liverpool goalkeeper shirt for the 1994/95 season, which hadn’t yet had the Carlsberg logo applied, and look who is wearing it… 😉
A proper Brucie bonus spot (ahem)…
