"Its great to have a dedicated badminton facility in the DMV! Playing in community centers and indoor basketball courts are good but it gets tough when they close for the holidays, watch in disgust when your shuttlecock hits the ceiling, try and figure out the badminton lines on the floor which criss cross with basketball lines or are asked to leave early because players from other sports get there. So a dedicated badminton court/club definitely helps. I have been going to the new club for the past 2 weeks and it's great- courts, people, management-- all top notch! The only downside for me is that the club is a little far from where I live but playing badminton twice a week in a proper badminton court at a convenient time of the day is all I can ask for now."
