Zenith By Robert Drysdale

Zenith is a place where world champions are created, self confidence is born, and friendships are cultivated. We've been to 3 Jiu Jitsu gyms over the years but Zenith is a "Unicorn" for many reasons.

Robert Drysdale has excellent attention to detail and knows all his student's strengths and weaknesses, making it a great place for beginners and advanced students. His teaching style and approach feels very customized to each student's abilities. He not only teaches, he applies corrections, and because of this, his students are able to know where their deficiencies are, and they continue to evolve and progress with confidence.

You'd be surprised to know that many Professors don't always take their time to focus on these small details nor have the patience. That's why Zenith is an incredible place for students at all levels. The instructors and students treat you like family and support each other's well being.

Robert Drysdale is a legend in the Jiu Jitsu world, but that doesn't stop him from being incredibly humble and down to earth. As a role model and coach, his students walk off the mats as better versions of themselves. Zenith is truly one team, one army, one family. No egos, no bs, just a unified love for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu here.

Drysdale is a terrific martial arts school with a variety of programs on offer. We primarily attended for my son to participate in the kids BJJ and it was a great for him. He progressed a ton in the year we attended (we sadly needed to move out of town). I think the instructors are universally encouraging, patient, and supportive.

By the way, the owner actually wrote a couple books about BJJ so he is a real student of the art. Wish we could give it 6 stars!

So I will first start by saying that I don't leave lots of reviews as I'm very busy and don't take the time . My reason for leaving review is to help people make a informed decision based on reviews and find the right one that gives them the info they need .

I was looking for a Jujitsu academy for my 6 year old son to start his journey . We started with a few other spots that are well known " don't want to name names " . They just weren't good fits for kids in our experience. They didn't dedicate the academy to the times when kids have there classes to a complete separate side for just kids classes . I think the is crucial for kids to learn with out distractions . Zenith Has is own space just for kids classes . Nothing else takes place in the whole dedicated side of the academy while kids classes are taking place . This is so essential to kids not being distracted and learning .

Second they have no less then 2 instructors when a kids class is in progress . Each student gets instruction and over site . There instructor cadre is also top notch and are so good with the kids . They keep it fun for them but also keep it structured . It's really a great formula for next gen to learn the art. My son absolutely loves and looks forward to coming everyday if he could .

Next is the Staff . They are extremely friendly and well organized . Robert Drysdale is an amazing teacher and coach . He takes the time to learn students name and gives the kids and his adult students great instruction and mentors them to be better then they think they can be. He's knowledge shows in this academy.

The academy is a very clean well kept place . It's comfortable for parents to observe classes and it's always a nice experience . There's always plenty of parking and easy to find .

If you are in any way considering a place to train or have you kids train I highly recommend!

Today was my first day at Drysdale Jiu Jitsu, and it went better than I could have imagined. The facilities are clean, the staff is knowledgeable, and there was no feeling of intimidation.

As a Las Vegas Local, Drysdale offers a 3-day free trial. I went to the Monday 10:30 am class (Gi class), but being new to Jiu Jitsu, I do not own a Gi. Thankfully for me, I was able to borrow a Gi from the staff during the class. The typical Gi rental price is $10 for the day. 

Being new to Jiu Jitsu, you are required to finish a checklist of basic moves. This requirement makes me confident that Drysdale Jiu Jitsu will adequately support me and nurture my growth.

I was fortunate to have Harvey, a brown belt at Drysdale, show me these basics while expanding on guard concepts. Once we moved back with the main class, I had the privilege to work with Coach Ken, who, like Harvey, was excellent. The staff & students know how to make you feel comfortable, like you're part of the family, even on your first day. 

I highly recommend Drysdale Jiu Jitsu. I am excited to start my journey here and can't wait to get my kids in here.

Best Jiu Jitsu in Las Vegas ! Coach Robert and Marcello know what they're talking about! The environment is respectful and full of positive vibes I highly recommend for self defense, fitness or for mma fighters the team is really welcoming! Full of killers! Go check them out!

I have been active in many different activities throughout my life, and with that I have had my fair share of coaches, instructors, and teachers. I am blown away by the instruction and connection made between coach and student at this place. I know nothing about Jiu Jitsu, but I know a talented and gifted team of coaches/teachers when I see them. Gus is amazing at instructing kids and explaining things on their level in a fun yet effective way for them to perform successfully. These classes, both for kids and adults, are held with such high standards yet not in a pretentious or intimidating manner. We came here thanks to the recommendation from a friend even after I had searched the internet high and low for a studio for us to call home. Not one person I've come across here behaves better than the other. Even sitting down with others waiting and watching I was welcomed with grace and curiosity of who we were and our Jiu Jitsu journey. Unbeknownst to me, this studio was opened by a Jiu Jitsu champion and is the training home for many others. We signed up the same day we came in for our free trial classes because of all that I have written and more. I look forward to more in our Jiu Jitsu journey here at Zenith Drysdale, and will definitely keep this post updated.

I moved to Las Vegas from Australia for the second time and scouted around for a gym that was going to be home and push me like never before. My first few classes felt like I had never trained a day in my life prior exactly what I was looking for. Definitely a place that welcomes newcomers and the proficient.

Over the last year here I have elevated my personal goals by challenging all aspects of my training. You have world class coaches who are valuable on and off the mat; genuine and passionate people who make the time to help see you grow and push your limits.

I loved building upon my game with the judo and wrestling classes, feeling a lot more confident and well-rounded.

Will miss the Zenith family, but will make sure I get back there again and see everyone soon!

True top-shelf jiu-jitsu here! Lots of classes and friendly atmosphere.
You regularly see UFC and pro fighters coming in to train yet it's very family-oriented (Me, my wife, and three kids under 10 train here.)

Everyone here is amazing! The coaching staff is one of a kind and really want every person here to succeed in their own way. Cam and Marcello are amazing. And professor drysdale is world class. I 1000% think this is an amazing academy for any level.

I had an awesome drop-in class experience here a couple weeks ago. The front desk staff member was super friendly, the gym was clean, training partners were friendly, and the instruction was solid.

I will definitely be back for another class the next time I'm in town.
