Tim Morehouse Fencing Club - Upper West Side

I ordered a pair of shoes, which first I got the wrong size, but the problem was quickly addressed and I received the right size within a week of leaving a review about the customer service. I have to say, I was impressed at the nice apology and quick resolution, including no shipping charge for my corrected order.

The shoes are great, and I look forward to being able to fence much more comfortably with a proper fit and the proper shoe for the job!

I have had the pleasure of interacting with every coach that works at this club. Every coach has wonderful credentials in their own right. There are Olympic medalists, Olympians, national team members, and coaches with consistent national results.

As a competitor, coach, and official, I am always pleased with how they interact with their students. Their athlete focused and positive approach is a breath of fresh air.

Best place for Fencing in NYC. I started out this season not being able to renew my E. I ended the season with an E16 and have qualified for Div. 2 National Championships. Great coaches and great atmosphere.

I stumbled upon the Tim Morehouse fencing club sign while visiting a friend on the upper west side. I am not an athlete by any means but I was intrigued by the idea of trying a new sport that can challenge me mentally and physically. As I walked up the stairs I was warmly greeted by staff, families, and students. As I inquired about their facility and explained my lack of athletic ability I was reassured the adult classes were fun and a good workout for the body and mind. I quickly noted how kind, welcoming, and dedicated the staff, students, and families were to supporting one another. It was clear there was a sense of community that they all built together and in an organic way they welcomed more, including myself. As I signed up for the adult class I reminded myself that my size doesn't matter and understood this sport challenges you to think and strategize. I am so glad I learned the sport of fencing at Tim Morehouse Fencing Club and created a friendship with the other members. It's a space where students learn, work hard, achieve success, and challenge themselves. I'd highly recommend families and their kids to join in on the fun of fencing. Adults who are looking to workout and get in shape it's the perfect space.
