Had a disappointing experience here several years ago. We recommended this club as a good place to play squash near my office and did have a chance to come in and tour the facilities. Generally the staff and members were aloof and not welcoming. Ended up joining Equinox to avoid the strange gatekeeping behavior.

Nice club, perfect location but unfortunately incredibly rude staff members.

A great racquet club! It's been around for 100 years+ (founded in 1902) and one of the few clubs that can be called unique in the Boston/ New England area.
The are known as a racquet club for good reason, they have 6 squash courts; a Court Tennis court (also known as "Real Tennis" progenitor to lawn tennis, one of 8-9 courts in the US, one of 30-40 in the world); a Hardrackets Court (similar to squash, but far more dangerous! a very old game);and a gym. They also have a first class locker room (sauna/ steam room/ hot tub); a function room; and a very decent bar!
A great place to learn how to play all of the racquet games- and the staff is truly excited to teach people their sports (many of which who have played internationally); they will help you find people to play, no matter your level of experience. I've seen many clubs come and go, and many clubs that has survived the test of time. With the continue growth of Boylston street, this will become a club worth watching.
If you are interested, please contact the club manager and setup a time to take a tour. (don't forget to look at the Court Tennis Court!!!)

The good: excellent squash pro, friendly members, easy court time
The bad: surprise 1-time fees, closures due to roof, ac, plumbing, etc.
The ugly: deal-breakingly rude/unprofessional manager.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
