EDIT: I had a bad experience with a couple employees overcharging us and giving us attitude, but the owners reached out to me and offered a refund for the amount I was overcharged. This has definitely been made right in my eyes.

Original review: This place is a terrible rip-off. The bowling lanes were advertised for $2.75 a game but they charged us $4 a game. When several of us went up to dispute this, the teenagers working just shrugged and told us sorry, but didn't refund us or bother changing the sign. Don't go here unless you want to be over-charged and given terrible customer service. Just go to Kent Lanes for a cheaper game with no lies.

The bartender with red hair (dyed) is rude and inconsiderate. No sense of personality or care for good customer service. It took forever for her to address us and the bar was not busy. Once she did, she took half the order and walked away (2 shot order). Again, the same employee was working the snack counter. We simply wanted to ask if our fry order was ready. No service was given due to not having a mask on. Once we put our masks on, she never returned.

Great kids birthday location! Easy to book, 2 hour event with cosmic bowling. Comes with table set up, all paper goods, drinks, shoes and a bowling pin for everyone to sign for the birthday boy/girl!!! Bring your own cake for $12/bowler or add pizza for $14/bowler. Staff was great and all the guests had a great time. $120 for 10 kids is a real deal!!

After waiting for 20 minutes at the mini-golf shack to be helped, I finally thought I would just grab a putter and a ball and pay afterwards, since stow-kent apparently leaves 'open' signs and lights on and expect customers to know when things close. I had read online that mini-golf had the same hours as bowling. it was around 9 pm. We played through 2 well-lit holes before we were rudely screamed at by a worker accusing us of breaking into the establishment when it was "obviously closed" to "take advantage" of the amenities. We were rudely told to leave the premises although we expressed interest in bowling.

Because as a 20 year old college student, my idea of a good time is apparently playing mini-golf on a horribly maintained course after-hours.

I no longer support this business, I would recommend the 11th frame or Kent Lanes, both in Kent. These places have much lower prices and offer deals and specials most weekdays. Although I would gladly pay double the price at either place to avoid Stow-Kent's horrible service and maintenance of their facilities.

Friendly staff. I can only speak for the bowling and it was everything I need for some practice. Everything worked as it should. Music was a little loud for my liking, but again, that is just my opinion.

Liked to go here in the past. Really gone downhill. The mini golf course is a joke. Friday nights they advertise 10 to 1 unlimited cosmic bowling, which might as well be 1045 to 1. They have a league that runs before that always runs over. Despite an abundance of lanes they will not let you bowl on them if they are next to a league bowler. Don't advertise what you cannot deliver. The automatic scoring system did not work when I finally got my lane, and it took 15 minutes for anyone at the front counter to help me. The staff was extremely rude acting as if it was my fault their equipment did not work. Bathroom was ATROCIOUS. They don't care about their customers or take care of their equipment....and poor musical selection. Nobody wants to hear the same song 3 times in a night. From a regular to no longer going back

Don't pay for their sorry excuse for a mini-golf course! It's like the zombie war already happened and they took all the mini-golf maintenance workers hostage instead of feasting on their delicious brains, they buried them in the Loud Bro-Overloaded and Depressed Pimple-a-saurus Teen Fist-Pumping Athlete volleyball court and then the zombies drowned their domestic beer cesspool of a crappy beach themed bar. The Radio Disney alone would've killed off most of the people but with thick skin, I endured one game of bowling in addition to the wasteland of a mini-golf. It was okay.

Sto Kent Lanes is a decent bowling alley located on Fishcreek Rd. It is very popular among residents of the surrounding communities. Activities here include bowling, volleyball, and mini golf. Often, during bowling, there will be light displays and music playing, which adds to the experience...for some. As much as I like music playing while bowling, they chose to play Radio Disney here. Radio Disney really rubs me the wrong way; I can't stand the shows on Disney Channel or their original music. Because of that, I deducted a star. The other star was deducted because the place could be a little bit cleaner. The staff is friendly. There is a game room but all the games are outdated. They do offer your standard bowling alley food, which I didn't have when I went bowling here. Overall, if you are looking for good, family friendly bowling and you live in Stow or the surrounding communities, Sto Kent Lanes is perfect for you.

Stow Kent Bowling is a joke. They treat people like they are kids when they are 40 year olds. When there is something wrong an employee or manager should go confront the problem not have another person go and tell them to stop. An employee should go ask them to throw away what ever they have or leave. Simple as that but nope the whole group of people to the left and right had to know about the issue before the people who were so called drinking an illegal substance..... WATER FROM A WATER BOTTLE...... Illegal substance as in alcohol. Some people need to learn how to do there jobs correctly and should treat paying customers with the respect they deserve and give back. When someone says you're gonna lose business you never say and I quote guy at front seat "oh well I don't care" that is ridiculous. He claimed that people were drinking alcohol from a water bottle but it was water and he didn't have the guts to go ask or confront which caused something that could have prevented this whole thing.
